I love the shoot! Carrie is one of my all time favorite fashion icons, even if she's just a fictional character. SJP looks gorgeous in these pictures!
Hmm...I don't know. I do agree that she is a bit "mature" for this trend, though I love the trend itself. On a side note: Cat you always have great music playing! The only blog I don't mute too! ♥

No way she's not too old! Hey if you've got credentials like her, and get to wear crazy designer stuff everyday, you can DEFINITELY pull these looks.
BTW ladies, it's a PHOTOSHOOT, I'm sure she wouldn't go out in public with half those clothes on.

I agree...I think she is a tad old for this trend but then again if I had a body like hers I wouldnt' be hiding it. I'm absolutley adoring the lace bike shorts paired with docs. I reallyyyy need to get onto this look :)
She is so amazing. I love any woman in docs. It's so powerful an image. And she definitely is fit for it. Great pictures.
I am always astonished to hear someone say that a person is too old to wear Docs! Hello…people the same age as SJP and even older have been wearing Docs since they were first invented in the 60’s. The newest generation may have recently discovered them, but they did not invent them, nor do they own the exclusive right to wear them. You don’t hear us saying that you are too young to wear them. Why? Because Docs are about attitude, not age. SJP, you rock those Docs!

they really did a terrible job with this shoot. first she looks like she's aged 50 years, and second they dress her like a teenage wildchiiild.
i know she can pretty much rock anything with style but overtrendy teen? ehh i dont think so
